We didn’t come from a family of business owners; we come from the streets of Ypsilanti, Michigan. Growing up, we traveled around the state, carrying with us the experiences and lessons of our community. In 2020, we founded New Bag Records—not just as a company, but as a vision rooted in purpose, passion, and resilience. New Bag is more than just a name, it is our way of life. As in our name, We can agree that life itself is a “Never Ending War of Building AND Growth" so as company we will continue to live by that motto no matter the success or achievements we've accomplished.
Leaving the streets to build this label wasn’t easy, but it was essential. We wanted to create a platform that would turn our past struggles into something positive, not just for ourselves but for everyone we reach. Our goal is to bring uplifting energy into the world through music, showing others that it’s possible to rise above negativity and create something powerful.
At New Bag, we’re not just about making music; we’re about building a legacy.
